On a side note, I just discovered biodegradable and compostable corn-based plastic cups, lids, straws, flatware, plates, bowls, etc. for picnicking! I know it costs a tiny bit more, but I would much prefer tossing those in a public garbage bin than the petroleum-based stuff!
